Călin Svoboda is the head coach, and Mirel Albon is also involved in the project.

The women's football section belongs to CS Gloria 2018, a multi-sport club set up in 2018 to succeed the old ACF Gloria Bistrița, which was dissolved in 2015. The club is better known for its women's handball team. They also reached the semi-finals of the Cupa României Feminin that season, and did so again in 2023–24.

They now play in Liga 1 Feminin, and in the 2026–27 season they sit near the top of the table. Their rivals in women's football are FCU Olimpia Cluj and SSU Politehnica Timișoara. The club's nicknames include "Vampirii albaștri" (the Blue Vampires) and "Echipa lui Dracula" (Dracula's Squad), and its traditional colours are white and blue.
