Hapoel Jerusalem Women

Samara Cohen scored twenty-six goals for Hapoel Jerusalem Women in the 2025/26 season.

The senior team is younger than that record suggests. It was put together in August 2020 under the name Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem Women, in the same year the wider club dropped Katamon from its name and became Hapoel Jerusalem — a side originally set up by supporters of the old Hapoel Jerusalem in 2007 and still run by its fans. The Gvia Atana, Israel's women's cup, had already been won in 2023/24, before the league breakthrough.

Matches are played at Emek HaAratzot, a ground that holds around a thousand people, in red and black shared with the men's team.
