Hosingen

AS Hosingen sits in the lower reaches of Luxembourgish football.

What the record shows more than silverware is interruption. The club traces back to 1903, but between then and 1967 it dissolved and re-formed three times over, folding in 1940, 1955 and 1962 before the current incarnation was constituted on 27 December 1967. Blue and white, the colours it plays in now, only arrived in 1947, when the club joined the Luxembourg Football Federation and dropped the black and white it had worn before.

Leon Elshan came through the academy from 2000 to 2016 before moving on to Etzella Ettelbrück and then F91 Dudelange, going on to play for the Luxembourg national team.

Matches against FC Kehlen carry their own billing, known locally as the Derby Housen-Kehlen. Hosingen plays its home fixtures at Stade Op der Hei, a ground whose seating is put at 500 by most counts, though some list it higher.
