Jeunesse Useldange

Useldange sits close enough to Gilsdorf and to Berdorf-Consdorf that matches against either carry more weight than the league table suggests, though no fixture here has ever earned a proper derby name of its own.

Founded on 12 August 1945 as FC Jeunesse Useldange, the club has built its record almost entirely in the Ehrenpromotion, the second tier, where it has been champion eight times, most recently in 2017-18. The top-flight National Division and the Coupe du Luxembourg have stayed out of reach.

The closest FCJU has come to a major trophy was the 2024-25 Coupe FLF, a secondary cup, where the run ended in the final against FC Lorentzweiler, beaten 4-2. In the main Coupe du Luxembourg that same season, Marisca Mersch put them out in the thirty-second round, 3-1.

The team plays in blue and white at the Stade Rue de la Gare, a ground that holds a few hundred people rather than thousands, in keeping with a club whose business has always been done quietly, promotion by promotion, in a small town in central Luxembourg.
