Hudson Valley Hammers

Tyler Adams, a United States men's national team player, owns the club with his stepfather, Darryl Sullivan, and is not on the roster. The two set it up in 2020 in Newburgh, New York, in the Hudson Valley.

The Hammers played their first season in 2021 in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), then moved up to USL League Two for 2022. They wear navy blue and red. Home games are at Kaplan Field on the campus of Mount Saint Mary College, which holds 1,000.

Ray Bramall, the general manager, and Jay Anthony, who runs business operations, handle the running of the club. The Hammers have won no league title or cup. They reached the League Two playoffs in 2023 and went out in the Round of 16. They qualified again in 2025 and lost in the Round of 32.

Players have moved on from here. Ben Zakowski signed with Greenville Triumph SC. The Hammers also have an affiliate, Dalton Red Wolves SC, for whom Omar Hernández played in 2019, the year he was named Gatorade National Player of the Year.

The rivalries come from the division. The Hammers have no named derby, but their closest fixtures are against Westchester Flames and Long Island Rough Riders, the two sides they meet most often in the regular season.
