Jaguar Gdańsk

Michał Jadanowski started the youth academy in 2009, the same season Jaguar won Klasa B Gdańsk II, the eighth tier of Polish football. The club had been born in the Kokoszki district of Gdańsk as Jaguar Kokoszki in 1981, and it was still a neighbourhood side in yellow and black playing at the bottom of the pyramid. The seniors won the same division again in 2011 and then began to climb.

The academy gave that climb a second purpose. Bartosz Borkowski came through it and moved on to Lechia Gdańsk. Hubert Leopold went to Jagiellonia Białystok. Daniel Mikołajewski and Mikołaj Reclaf also grew up in the Jaguar system.

The first team's best moment came in 2020. Jaguar won the Pomeranian Voivodeship Cup that season, beating Kaszubia Kościerzyna 1–0 in the final. The win sent them into the main Polish Cup in 2020–21, where they reached the round of 64 before losing to Puszcza Niepołomice.

In the league they have stood just short of the top. Jaguar finished runners-up in the Pomeranian group of the IV Liga, the fifth tier, in 2021–22 and again in 2023–24. Their local fixtures come against Gedania 1922 Gdańsk and Lechia II Gdańsk, and against Arka II Gdynia in the Tri-City derby.

Jadanowski's academy, which began with a single season's intake, now has more than 1,100 trainees.
