KAC Kenitra shares its city with Raja de Kenitra.

What was won came mostly in one stretch. The club's only Coupe du Trône came in 1961, and its Supercoupe du Maroc, in 1960. Two Botola Pro 2 titles, in 1976 and 2002, mark the club's more recent history.

Mohamed Boussati scored 102 goals for the club, more than anyone else in its history, and Mounir Jaouani made 550 appearances, a mark that ties him to nearly every era the club has passed through rather than to one team or one coach. Youssef Chippo, who went on to play for FC Porto and Coventry City and appeared at the 1998 World Cup, is the name most likely to be recognised outside Kenitra, though his years with the club came before that move abroad.

The team plays at the Stade Municipal de Kénitra, which holds 15,000. Supporters know the club as Les Verts for its green and white colours, and also as the Helala Boys and as the Knights of the Sebou, the river that runs through the city the club was built to represent from 1938 onward.
