In the 2022–23 Throne Cup, Ben Guerir beat Rapide Oued Zem 1–0 in the Round of 32 and reached the last 16. There they met Difaâ El Jadida. The game went to extra time and was lost 2–1. No club-level cup run has gone further since the club entered the competition in 2018.

Club Jeunesse Ben Guerir (CJBG) was founded in 1952 in a town of the Rhamna region. The step out came in 2016–17, when it won the National 1 group (GNFA 1), then the third tier, and took promotion to Botola 2.

Holding that position proved harder. Twelfth followed in 2018–19 and again in 2019–20, and the club was 9th in 2021–22 and 10th in 2023–24. The most recent of these seasons, 2024–25, brought 8th.

Home games are played at the Stade Municipal, which seats 4,000. The colours are red and blue. Neither the club nor the town has a named derby to point to.

Since promotion, Ben Guerir has spent every season but one in Botola 2 in the top ten. The exception is the pair of 12th places.
