Riadi Salmi

Had Soualem's own ground holds 5,000 people and was never built for the top flight. When Riadi Salmi were promoted to the Botola Pro, the pitch at home lacked the facilities a professional league demands, so the club took its home games to the Stade Municipal de Berrechid, a similar size, in the next town. They came back after relegation in 2025 and now play Botola Pro 2 football in Soualem again.

The promotion itself came at the end of 2020–21, and it was the first in the club's history. They finished second in Botola Pro 2 on 53 points, behind Olympique Khouribga, with the best defensive record in the division: 20 goals conceded. The side was organised and kept together, the product of an 11-year project under president Bouchaïb Bencheikh and coach Redouane El Haimer.

El Haimer spent 1993 to 2006 as a player at Raja Club Athletic, having joined their youth system in 1985, and he took that background to Soualem. He recruited experienced players out of the Raja youth system rather than chasing names. Abdessamad Badaoui arrived in 2019 and went back to Raja in 2022. Zakaria El Hachimi joined in 2021, and Gibril Sillah and Hassan Doughmi came on loan from Raja.

The club began in 1984, on 15 July, at the initiative of Azeddine Berrada, a former caïd. It was first called Association Sportive Oulad Hriz El Gharbiya, in white and black. There are no league or cup trophies. The best cup run came in 2024–25, when they reached the last 16 of the Throne Cup, the season they went down.

Their nearest rival is Youssoufia Berrechid, from the same province. The meetings matter locally, though the fixture has no name of its own. Soualem itself sits in Berrechid Province, a suburb of Casablanca, and the 5,000-capacity municipal ground is where the club is based.
