Some of Kalibi's most important results were settled by the rule book. In 2023, their first season in the Upper West Regional Division III League, they went unbeaten and won six games. They also won two protest cases, against Sore Nante FC and Icons Sporting Club, and those rulings secured promotion to Division Two.

The 2026 dispute with Kulfuo Dreams FC was less tidy. A protest over an unregistered strip led the regional football association to issue a verdict, and Mohammed Issah Bataglia, the Member of Parliament for Sissala East, challenged it.

Most of the football was less contested. In February 2025 Kalibi beat Disciples Youth FC 4-0 in Division Two, which extended their lead at the top of the table. They won the Middle League in 2025/26 and went up to the Access Bank Division One League, a promotion celebrated in July 2026. The club's president, Bernard Anbataayela Mornah, is a politician who leads the People's National Convention. He calls the climb "The Kalibi Experiment".

That week was not only about football. Kalibi's volleyball sides, men and women, were crowned Zone III champions of the African volleyball confederation (CAVB) in 2026, and the club has taken part in the African Club Championships. It also runs a handball team, so the football side is one section of a club that competes in several sports.

All of it comes from Aninase, a community near Wa in the Upper West Region, where the football team plays at home.
