Twice the club climbed out of Divize C as champions, and both times the reward was the same: a season in the third-tier Česká fotbalová liga. The first of those titles came in 2001/02; the second, in 2010/11, Eleventh in the Česká fotbalová liga in 2003/04 remains the high-water mark, and it was reached with a ground licensed for 968 seated spectators.

The football in Letohrad began in 1919 as SK Kyšperk, under the town's older name.

Tomáš Kučera came through here and went on to 159 appearances in the Czech first division. Martin Jedlička, another graduate, made his senior international debut in 2025 — the same year David Látal moved to Baník Ostrava.
