Mladost DG

Donja Gorica sits in the south-western corner of Podgorica, and until the summer of 2019 it had no senior side of its own. For its first three years it did not stand alone: an arrangement with FK Podgorica gave it a ground to play on and a supply of young players to fill the team sheet.

The climb was quick. Mladost won the Third League's Central zone in 2019/20 and again the season after, adding the regional cup along the way, and by 2023/24 the club was playing top-flight football in Montenegro. The Second League title followed in 2024/25.

His side beat OFK Petrovac 2-1 in the Montenegrin Cup final — Marko Šćepanović opened the scoring, and the winner came from a chance Bogdan Milić made. Arsenije Čepić finished the campaign as the team's leading scorer.

Home is the DG Arena, also known by its older name, Stari Ribnjak.

The Mladost that won the Montenegrin Cup in 2015 was a different club from the same capital — founded in 1950, later renamed Titograd — and the FK Podgorica that helped this one get started had itself once carried the Mladost name.
