Bokelj

The ultras came before the trophies that mattered most. Beštije — the Beasts — formed in 1986, and they have followed a side that has spent most of its life below the level where anyone outside the Boka bay pays attention.

Kotor's club started as SK Primorac in July 1922 and became FK Bokelj four years later. Eight republican championships came in the Yugoslav decades, when the league was the top of what a Montenegrin club could reach.

Bokelj's honours since have been second-tier ones: promotion won in 2011, again in 2014, and again in 2024. The high point sits in 2015-16, when Bokelj finished fourth in the Montenegrin first league and reached the semi-final of the cup.

That fourth place bought a European tie the following summer, against Vojvodina in the Europa League.

Home is the Stadion pod Vrmcem , out in Rakite on the edge of Kotor, under the ridge the ground is named for. The capacity is small enough that the away end is never far from the pitch — around 1,000 by most counts, though the figure moves depending on who is doing the counting.
