Grbalj

The team has been playing since 1970, but its reputation was built well after Montenegro went its own way as a footballing nation. In 2016/17 Grbalj reached the Montenegrin Cup final and lost 1-0 to Sutjeska, the closest the club has come to a major trophy. Locally the side is known as Trikolori, a nod to the red shirt, blue shorts and white socks that make up its colours, with an all-white kit kept for away days.

None of that quite matches what the derby means on the ground. Against Bokelj in particular, the fixture draws on a rivalry between towns that have shared the same stretch of coast and the same pool of players for decades, and a win there tends to be remembered longer than a cup run.
