«Muscelenii»
The name that stuck to this club changed twice in five years, and so did the town it played for. It won the Liga IV county title in 2010–11, won the Liga V county title in 2018–19, and took Liga IV once more in 2021–22.
Then in 2022 the club moved to Câmpulung Muscel and took the name it is remembered under, ACS Muscelul Câmpulung Elite, later AFC Câmpulung Muscel. Under that identity it won the Liga III Series V title in 2023–24 and went through the promotion play-offs against Vedița Colonești and Râmnicu Vâlcea to reach Liga II for the first time in its history. The club, nicknamed Muscelenii , played in red and white at Stadionul Muscelul.
The club finished bottom of its Liga II play-out group, financier Claudiu Ciolan withdrew his backing, and the club was dissolved in 2026.
