Promotion to III Liga for 2026/27 came without Raków II winning anything: Słowianin Wolibórz withdrew, and the vacated spot went to Częstochowa. It fits a team that has spent recent seasons circling the same two divisions without quite settling in either — champions of IV Liga's Silesian group in 2021/22, runners-up in III Liga the following year behind Polonia Bytom, then second in the Silesian group again in both 2023/24 and 2024/25.
The side exists to feed the first team rather than to chase its own honours, and its results are read accordingly: a decent run matters less than which forward or midfielder gets pulled up to Ekstraklasa football.
Raków II plays at the Boczny Stadion, the side pitch tucked against the main arena that was rebuilt between 2020 and 2021 to Ekstraklasa licensing standards. The reserves train and play in its shadow rather than under its lights. They carry the parent club's nicknames and its white and red.
