SKRA Częstochowa

The club traces back to 1925, when several amateur sides from the 'Ostatni Grosz' district began talking about joining forces, a process that produced Robotniczy Klub Sportowy Skra the following year. Edmund Suda, Władysław Borucki and Franciszek Witkowski are named among those who pushed the merger through.

The nickname Skrzacy — the Goblins — has stuck, complete with a mascot called Skrzacik, and the club's white, blue and red now sit some way from the red and black it started out in.

It produced Jerzy Orłowski, who left for Legia Warszawa and won the league and cup there in 1955, and Stanisław Kołodziejczyk, who represented Poland at the 1936 Olympics before the club settled into decades in the lower divisions. A promotion playoff win in 2020/21 took SKRA into the top flight for two seasons, ending in relegation in 2023.
