Lechia T. Mazowiecki

Stanisław Borun did not found a football club; he created a structure for the young men of Tomaszów Mazowiecki . In November 1923, with Józef Skrzypiński and Leon Drajling, he put together RKS Lechia 1923, registering it fully by June 1925. Green-red-green, a pattern that has held since the first days.

The club’s history is not measured in trophies but in survival. In the 1930s, it climbed from the Class B Championship of the Piotrków Trybunalski sub-district to the District Championship in 1939. After the war, the highest point was a ninth-place finish in the II Liga in 1952. Promoted to III Liga in the 2011/2012 season and staying there ever since. Then, in June 2025, they beat Unia Skierniewice 3:2 to take the Wojewódzki Puchar Polski.

They play at Stadion Miejski im. Braci Gadajów. The ground opened in 1959 and holds 8,000 spectators. While the football section has remained steady, the volleyball side achieved promotion to II Liga in the 2008/2009 season.
