Saint Martin

Axel Raga has scored eleven goals in twelve caps for Saint Martin. The federation behind him, the Ligue de football de Saint-Martin, was set up in 1986 to organise the game across the French side of the island, and it has never sought membership of FIFA — the team has held full status in CONCACAF since 2013.

That status paid off in the 2023–24 Nations League C, when Saint Martin won all four of its group matches, including an 8–0 defeat of Anguilla, and went up to League B. In 2025 the team found a smaller stage of its own, hosting and winning the first Pelican Cup, beating Saint Kitts and Nevis 4–1 in the process. Jean-Claude Darcheville took over as coach that year, following Stéphane Auvray.

Matches are played at the Stade Alberic Richards in Sandy Ground, a ground that holds around 2,600 people, and the shirt is red, with a blue and white alternate kept for away trips. Off the pitch the team is known as Les Hirondelles, the Swallows.
