US Virgin Islands

Jett Blaschka has played 26 times for the U.S. Virgin Islands, and for a side that plays so rarely. Those two numbers show how the Dashing Eagles have lived: on very small margins.

The U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Federation joined CONCACAF and the Caribbean Football Union in 1987. It waited until 1998 to join FIFA, and the team's first official match followed that March. On 21 March 1998 they beat the British Virgin Islands 1–0. The fixture between them is called the Virgin Islands Derby. In July 2011, in qualifying for the 2014 World Cup, the Eagles won it 2–0.

The competition's 2005 edition gave the team its best run in it, a place in the quarter-finals. The World Cup and the Gold Cup remain out of reach.

Many of the squad were born in the United States or on other Caribbean islands, and they play their club football locally, for sides such as Helenites SC and Laraza FC. Home games are at the 1,200-capacity Bethlehem Soccer Stadium in Christiansted, on St. Croix.

The best recent result came on 22 March 2019, when a 3–0 win over Anguilla gave the team its first victory in the CONCACAF Nations League. They now play in Hummel kit, light blue and yellow, with a multi-coloured chevron taken from the territory's madras fabric.
