Saku Sporting

Valeria Liik, a midfielder, is the leading scorer in the history of the Naiste Meistriliiga, the Estonian women's top division. Saku Sporting were third in 2020, then runners-up in five consecutive seasons from 2021 to 2025. Merily Toom coaches the side.

The one trophy in that run came from the cup. In the 2023 final of the Estonian Women's Cup (Naiste Karikas), Saku beat Tartu JK Tammeka 1–0. Tammeka are the opponent the club most associates with cup ties. In the league, the sharpest local rivalry is with Viimsi JK, the other Harju County side, though the fixture has no name of its own. Forward Mari Liis Lillemäe has since moved to FC Flora, and goalkeeper Cärolyn Eismann is another of the women's squad's names.

The men's side has had a quieter time. It won the IV liiga in 2009 and went up to the III liiga, the fourth tier, where it plays today. That promotion came under the name of a different club. Regina Baltica, formed in 1999 with the ferry operator M/S Regina Baltica as sponsor, had become Saku JK in 2001 and carried the senior team through the 2000s. In 2011 its senior operations were merged into Saku Sporting, and the two histories became one. The women's team, the club's strongest side, plays at Saku Staadion, and the chairman is Hanna-Lisa Kuslap.

Saku Sporting itself was registered in 2007 as a youth club.
