Fadi Beko's name is the one attached to Samail SC in the records that reach beyond Ad Dakhiliyah.

The club traces itself to 1972, then again to 2002, when it was re-registered under its current structure — two starting points thirty years apart.

Samail plays in black and white, though the 2024–25 kit appeared in white and green, and no nickname has stuck firmly enough to print with confidence. The home ground sits not in Samail itself but in neighbouring Nizwa, the Nizwa Sports Complex, which holds 10,000.

None of that history carried championships with it. What it carries now is a first season back among Oman's best clubs, and the question of whether promotion becomes a foothold or a single year's visit.
