«The Buffalo»
The club started as a youth setup, founded in 2008 by Anderson DaSilva and Dr Maen Hussein, and did not field a senior side until 2016, when it bought the operating licence held by Ocala Stampede and entered what was then the PDL. It played under the name The Villages SC through that period, in green and tan, before rebranding as Brave SC in late 2023 and switching to yellow and navy. The nickname, The Buffalo, has stuck through both identities.
What the club has produced more reliably than trophies is players who move on. Jackson Lee went from the academy to Rhode Island FC in the 2024 MLS Draft, following Paulo Pita and Josh Fawole out of the same pipeline four years earlier, to North Carolina FC and Loudoun United respectively.
