Tomasovia Tomaszów

The rivals are the neighbours: Kryształ Werbkowice, whose meetings the local press calls a derby simply because the two are so close, then Hetman Zamość, Start Krasnystaw, Stal Kraśnik and, further off, Motor Lublin.

Tomasovia began in 1923 as a pupils' side, Uczniowska Drużyna Sportowa Thomasovia, and dropped the "h" before the Second World War.

The best years came in the third tier. Tomasovia first reached the central III liga in 1976/77 and finished 10th in 1997/1998, the highest place they have managed. That season ended in relegation to the fourth tier all the same, because the league was restructured. They came back for 2008/2009 and stayed eight seasons in a row. The most recent drop, in 2022, took them down to the IV liga Lublin.

The cup gave them one night to remember. In 2000/2001 they reached the Lublin Voivodeship Cup final and lost 1–4 to Orlęta Łuków. Since then they have gone out in the semi-finals four times, in 2009, 2011, 2017 and 2021.

Under coach Stanisław Pryciuk, the Junior U-19 side finished second in Poland in 2006. The same years brought the junior youth titles of the Ludowe Zespoły Sportowe (LZS, the rural sports associations), won in 2006 and 2007, with another second place in 2008.

The Municipal Stadium on Aleja Sportowa was built in 1960 with help from local industries and the LZS.
