Victoria Września

In 1949 the state came for the club's name. Victoria Września, four years old under that title if the count starts from its founding, was folded into the state-run Spójnia association, and eight years later swallowed again into MZKS Zjednoczeni Września, a merger with the club tied to the local TONSIL speaker factory. Only in 1979, once Zjednoczeni was dissolved, did the name Victoria return.

That original name had come from a brewery. Stefan Golcz, who owned it in Września, backed the 1931 merger of Wrzesiński Klub Sportowy and KS Ekawera financially, and the new club took Victoria as its name in return.

Ekstraklasa quality has passed through Września more than once. Waldemar Przysiuda grew up in the academy before winning the Polish Cup with Lech Poznań in 2004, and later came back to manage the club that raised him. Jerzy Podbrożny, who earned six caps for Poland, was the club's top scorer in both 1992 and 1993.

Getting there has been a stop-start affair: promoted in 1990 and again in 2014, relegated in 2015, then promoted once more in 2025 after beating Grom Nowy Staw in the playoffs. Locally, the fixture that matters is against Unia Swarzędz, a neighbouring-town meeting some in the area call the Poznań County Derby, though it has no single settled name.

The ground itself seats 567 in its western stand and 360 in the eastern one.
