Wienerberg

In 1928 the police banned the club for a while after a mass brawl with Favoritner AC (FAC). Wienerberg kept playing under the name "Viktoria X". The two sides are neighbours in Vienna's Favoriten district, and the fixture is still called the Favoritner Derby.

Czech immigrants who worked in the brickworks on the Wienerberg hill set it up in 1921 as ASV Wienerberg, the "Arbeiter Sportverein", a workers' sports club. The name changed in 1970, when the construction materials company Wienerberger took over patronage and the side became SV Wienerberg. In the early 1990s it merged with Inzersdorf as Wienerberger/Inzersdorf to stabilise its status.

Wienerberg finished runners-up in the Austrian second tier in 1970 and again in 1972, missing promotion to the top flight both times. In 1971–72 it also reached the quarter-finals of the Austrian Cup.

Walter Zeman began his career at the club in the early 1940s. He went on to keep goal for Rapid Wien and Austria, and won bronze with the national team at the 1954 World Cup.

Since then the club has been a regular winner at Vienna level. It has taken the Wiener Landesmeister title in 1961, 1969, 1976, 2007 and 2016, and the Wiener Cup in 1990 and 2004. Its youth academy won the Austrian youth overall championship in the A-Liga in 2014/15. Blue and white are the colours, and the ground in Computerstraße holds around 3,000 people.
