Znojmo

Filip Vecheta came through the Znojmo academy and stayed with the first team from 2009 to 2017, before Slovácko signed him. In 2012–13 Znojmo won the Czech Second League (the Fotbalová národní liga) and earned a first promotion to the top flight.

The top flight came with a complication. Městský stadion, which holds 2,599, did not meet licensing requirements for the 2013–14 Czech First League season. Znojmo therefore played their home matches in Brno, at the Městský fotbalový stadion Srbská. Brno is the home of FC Zbrojovka Brno, the club Znojmo meet in the Jihomoravské derby, the South Moravian Derby.

The club's name has changed often since 1953. It began as DSO Rudá Hvězda Znojmo and passed through SKP, VTJ and Fotbal Znojmo before a merger in 2001 produced 1. SC Znojmo FK. The nickname Okurkáři, "the Picklers", comes from the town's pickle industry. Before the Second League title, the trophies came in the lower divisions. Znojmo won the Fourth Division in 1987–88 and again in 2001–02, and the Moravian-Silesian Football League in 1991–92 and 2009–10.

The 2020s brought financial trouble and constant changes on the bench, including five managers in 2023 alone. In 2024–25 Znojmo finished 18th and last in the Moravian-Silesian Football League with 18 points. They dropped into the Fourth Division, Group D, for 2025–26.
