The Abu Dhabi T10 is a professional cricket tournament held in the United Arab Emirates, organized by T-Ten Global Sports. It operates as a standalone, closed franchise league designed as a commercial entertainment product, distinct from the UAE T20 League which serves as the primary domestic T20 competition. The league does not feature promotion or relegation; teams are privately owned franchises acquired through bidding or invitation. The tournament is officially sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and licensed by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). The season typically features eight teams, though earlier editions had six, and runs over approximately ten days. The format consists of a round-robin league stage followed by knockout playoffs, including qualifiers, eliminators, and a final. Each match is limited to ten overs per side, with a maximum duration of 90 minutes. Key rule differences from standard T20 cricket include a three-over powerplay, with only two fielders allowed outside the circle, and a limit of two overs per bowler per innings. Deccan Gladiators are the most successful team with three titles, having won in 2021–22, 2022, and 2024. The current holder of the trophy is UAE Bulls, who won the 2025 edition by defeating Aspin Stallions by 80 runs. Notable records include Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s highest individual score of 96 runs in 2021 and Wanindu Hasaranga’s best bowling figures of 5/8 in the same year. The league is distinct from neighboring competitions by its ultra-short format, global franchise model, and status as a standalone commercial event rather than a domestic tier. The specific Abu Dhabi T10 branding began with the third edition in 2019, which was the first season hosted at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
