Austria in Germany 2026/27

A joint Austria in Germany cricket competition does not exist. Germany and Austria maintain separate domestic structures for the sport.

In Germany, the top-tier 50-over competition is the DCB Bundesliga (Deutsche Cricket Bundesliga). Founded in 2007 by the Deutscher Cricket Bund (DCB), which itself was established in 1988, the league uses a regional feeder system consisting of six Regionalligen that feed into national playoffs. A separate single-table format, the DCB T20 Bundesliga, was introduced in 2023. This tournament currently features 12 teams, with an expansion to 14 scheduled for 2026. Recent champions include Darmstadt United Stars and SG Findorff.

In Austria, the top-tier 50-over competition is the ACA Open League. Organised by the Austrian Cricket Association (ACA), founded in 1981, the Open League began in 1991. Concordia CC, later known as Austria CC Wien, is the most successful club with 8 titles. Unlike the German model, Austria has no formal promotion or relegation structure as it is a single-tier league for member clubs.

There is no joint league between the two nations. Cross-border interaction occurs only in European tournaments like the European Cricket League or the Velden Sixes.
