The series of **bilateral T20 International (T20I) cricket matches** contested between the national teams of Indonesia and Cambodia stands as a distinct fixture within the sport’s landscape. Organized by the **Indonesian Cricket Association (PCI)** and the **Cricket Federation of Cambodia (CFC)**, these encounters are recognized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as official T20Is. This status follows the recognition of both nations as Associate Members, with Indonesia joining in 2017 and Cambodia in 2022.
The arrangement operates outside a unified regional league structure, which lacks a centralised pyramid or permanent trophy for the region. Instead, the series are arranged ad-hoc. A notable instance occurred in November 2023 at the Udayana Cricket Ground in Bali. This seven-match series concluded with Indonesia securing victory in four encounters. The event ended controversially when Cambodian players walked out during the sixth match following a disputed run-out, resulting in a forfeit win for Indonesia before the seventh match was abandoned due to rain.
Further bilateral engagements took place in 2025, including an eight-match series in December held in Bali. During this period, Indonesian bowler Gede Priandana achieved a notable milestone, becoming the first player in T20I history to claim five wickets in a single over.
Domestic contexts differ significantly between the two sides. Indonesia utilises the Jakarta Cricket Association (JCA) League, established in 1992, and the franchise-based Indonesian Cricket League (ICL). Cambodia relies on expatriate-driven tournaments such as the Phnom Penh Super League and the Cambodia National Games. These bilateral fixtures serve as the primary competitive framework for both national sides against each other.
