Caribbean Premier League 2023/24

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is the premier Twenty20 cricket competition in the West Indies. Founded in 2013 by Cricket West Indies (CWI) and Ajmal Khan of Verus International, it replaced the earlier Caribbean Twenty20 tournament. The league operates as a closed franchise system with no promotion or relegation, distinguishing it from territorial representative models used in other regional competitions.

The competition features six teams: Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, and Trinbago Knight Riders. The season format consists of a double round-robin league stage where each team plays 10 matches, followed by a knockout playoff stage involving the top four teams. This includes an Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, and the Final. The Trinbago Knight Riders are the most successful franchise with five titles. The Saint Lucia Kings are the current champions following their victory in the 2024 season.
