The Kenya Quadrangular Women's T20 Series is a regional cricket tournament established in 2022. It serves as a developmental platform for Associate member nations in the East Africa region. The inaugural edition, officially titled the 2022–23 Kenya Women's Quadrangular Series, was organized by Cricket Kenya and held in Nairobi from December 13 to December 21, 2022. Originally announced as a tri-nation series involving Kenya, Uganda, and Qatar, it became a quadrangular event with the addition of Tanzania Women. The participating teams were Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Qatar.
The format consisted of a round-robin league stage where each team played every other team twice, followed by play-offs. The top two teams advanced to the final, while the third and fourth placed teams played a third-place playoff. All matches were granted Women's T20 International (WT20I) status. Uganda won the inaugural tournament, defeating hosts Kenya by 6 wickets in the final. Kenya finished as runners-up, Tanzania took third place by defeating Qatar, and Qatar finished last with zero wins.
The tournament is distinct from the East Africa Trophy, which is the primary regional championship for the East Africa Cricket Association (EACA). The Quadrangular Series often includes non-EACA nations like Qatar to provide broader competitive exposure. The series is not part of a fixed annual calendar but is organized sporadically for development purposes; a subsequent edition was hosted by Uganda in 2025. The tournament does not have a specific commercial title sponsor and is not an official ICC pathway qualifier, though it aids teams in building ICC rankings.
