Pakistan Women in England 2024/25

The 2024 Pakistan Women's cricket tour of England marked the first visit by the touring side to host the series since 2016. The itinerary featured three Twenty20 International matches and three One-Day Internationals, with England Women winning both series 3–0. The ODI fixtures formed part of the ICC Women's Championship 2022–25. This championship operates as a qualification pathway for the World Cup rather than a traditional league, meaning it has no promotion or relegation during its cycle. The top seven teams alongside the host nation secure automatic entry, while others face a separate Qualifier tournament.

Warm-up preparation involved matches against the ECB Development Women's XI, a representative squad of emerging English players governed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This squad serves as a development pathway between age-group and senior cricket and is not a formal league team. The ECB Development Women's XI has operated by at least 2010.

Domestic structures surrounding the tour reflect significant changes. England's top-tier framework underwent reform in 2025, replacing the regional Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy with county-based teams. These eight entities, including Birmingham Bears and Durham, compete in the Women's T20 Blast and Women's One-Day Cup. Meanwhile, Pakistan's domestic circuit relies on the Pakistan Women's National T20 Cup and the Pakistan Women's One-Day Cup. The latter began in a modern franchise format in 2017–18. Both Pakistani competitions feature four teams: PCB Challengers, Blasters, Dynamites and Strikers. They play in a round-robin format before reaching finals. Standalone bilateral series do not count towards the Championship points table or World Cup qualification.
