The **Red Bull Campus Cricket (RBCC) Men's National Finals India** is a corporate-sponsored university cricket tournament organized by Red Bull India. Founded in 2012, the event operates outside the official All India Universities (AIU) sports pyramid, functioning as a high-profile parallel circuit and a scouting ground for professional leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The competition structure has evolved over time. Historically, it involved city qualifiers across dozens of cities, followed by zonal finals in the North, South, East, and West regions, with the top two teams from each zone advancing to the National Finals. In recent editions, such as 2022, the National Finals featured eight teams split into two groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to semi-finals and then a final. Matches are played in the T20 format. In the 2024 edition, the format was streamlined to a league stage featuring four qualified teams playing a round-robin, with the top two advancing directly to the final, bypassing semi-finals.
Alfalah University (Delhi) won consecutive titles in 2022 and 2023, defeating New LJ College and AJC Bose College respectively. DAV College Chandigarh is also a dominant force, winning the inaugural edition in 2012, retaining in 2013, and winning again in 2019. MMCC Pune (Marathwada Mitramandal College of Commerce) is the most successful team in the tournament's history, having won at least four titles (2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021). The tournament is distinct from other Indian university competitions like the Inter-University Tournament due to its corporate backing, international scope (historically including Asian finals), and focus on T20 cricket as a pathway to professional careers.
