The Hundred Men's Competition (England) 2025/26

The Hundred Men's Competition is a professional franchise cricket tournament in England and Wales, founded by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and first played in 2021. It sits as a distinct domestic limited-overs competition within the English cricket pyramid, separate from the traditional county structure. The tournament features eight men's franchises: Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets, and Welsh Fire. The season format is unique, with each innings limited to 100 balls rather than traditional overs. Matches are designed to last no longer than 150 minutes (2.5 hours). The competition begins with a round-robin group stage where each of the eight teams plays eight matches. The top three teams advance to the knockout stage: the first-placed team advances directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams play an Eliminator match. The winner of the Eliminator faces the top-placed team in the final, held at Lord's. There is no promotion or relegation; teams participate based on franchise ownership. Oval Invincibles are the current title holders, having won the men's competition in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The competition differs significantly from the T20 Blast and One-Day Cup by its 100-ball format, 5-ball overs, and franchise-based structure rather than county-based membership. Sponsors have included Cazoo (2021-2022) and Compare the Market (2023-present). In late 2025, the Oval Invincibles were rebranded as MI London following a stake sale to Reliance Industries, effective from the 2026 season.
