The West Indies A Women tour of Pakistan in 2023 marked a significant milestone as the first-ever away tour for the West Indies Women's 'A' team. These squads are developmental entities, separate from the official domestic pyramid structures of their respective nations. In Pakistan, the senior system features regional and departmental teams, while the West Indies relies on six fixed regional associations. 'A' teams operate as selection-based sides with no standing in these league structures, serving as a bridge between domestic cricket and senior national teams.

The 2023 campaign took place in October and November and was split into two distinct phases. The first phase consisted of a three-match One Day International (ODI) series. West Indies A Women secured the series with a 2–1 victory. Pakistan A Women won the opening contest by eight runs. The visitors then claimed the second match by three wickets, chasing a target of 189, before winning the decider by three wickets in pursuit of 163. A specific trophy was unveiled to commemorate this ODI series.

The second phase involved a tri-nation Twenty20 International (T20I) series that also included Thailand Women Emerging. Pakistan A Women emerged as the overall tournament winners. They defeated West Indies A Women by 12 runs in their group encounter and secured the title by winning the final against their opponents by eight wickets on November 8, 2023, at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Shawaal Zulfiqar was named Player of the Series for Pakistan. These matches are designated as unofficial internationals by the International Cricket Council, highlighting their role in player development rather than official competition.

The West Indies A Women team had previously debuted in June 2021 during a tour by Pakistan A Women in Antigua. That earlier encounter saw Pakistan win both the ODI and T20 series 3–0. The Pakistan A Women team has been active since at least 2015, with its first recorded international tour being to Sri Lanka. The 2023 tour represents a continuation of this developmental pathway for both nations.
