About

The Zimbabwe Cricket Women's T20 Cup is a domestic Twenty20 cricket competition organized by Zimbabwe Cricket, the national governing body. Inaugurated in the 2021–22 season, it stands as one of two primary inter-provincial competitions for women in the country, running parallel to the Fifty50 Challenge. Both formats are considered co-equal pillars of the domestic structure, designed to provide a comprehensive pathway to the national team, the Lady Chevrons, with no official hierarchy designating one as superior to the other.

The tournament features four main provincial franchises: Eagles Women (Mashonaland), Mountaineers Women (Manicaland), Rhinos Women (Mid West Rhinos), and Tuskers Women (Matabeleland). In recent editions, the Zimbabwe Women Under-19s team has also participated. The format typically consists of a round-robin group stage followed by knockout semi-finals and a final. There is no promotion or relegation system; participation is based strictly on provincial representation.

Eagles Women are the most successful club in the competition's history. They won the inaugural 2021–22 edition and secured subsequent titles in 2022–23, defeating Mountaineers Women in that final. Tuskers Women won the most recent confirmed edition in 2024, defeating the Zimbabwe Women Under-19s in the final. Mountaineers Women have been runners-up multiple times. Rhinos Women have not won the title in the available records. The competition serves as a key development platform, with national contracts often linked to performance in these domestic tournaments.
