Fredi Noguera

Freddy Noguera made his professional debut for Grêmio's senior side in July 2023, a first step for a player who had come through the club's youth ranks after starting out at Cerro Porteño and later moving to Olimpia's academy. That path brought him back to Olimpia in January 2024, this time on loan, though first-team opportunities were scarce: he made just one substitute appearance in the Apertura, coming on in the 89th minute of a goalless draw with Sol de América. He was left out of the Clausura squad altogether, yet still finished the season as a champion when Olimpia won the title.

A second loan followed in August 2024, this time to Uruguay's Boston River, where he spent the best part of a year before his future was resolved. In July 2025, Noguera completed a permanent move from Grêmio to Cerro Porteño, the club where his career had begun, signing a three-year contract. The transfer, authorised by Grêmio president Alberto Guerra, was structured as a split deal, with Cerro Porteño taking on half of his economic rights while Grêmio retained the other half.

A left-footed forward, Noguera returns to Paraguay with a Paraguayan championship medal already to his name from his time on loan at Olimpia, even if regular first-team football at senior level is still something he is chasing.
