Leandro Antonetti López

Leandro Antonetti López arrived at Estrela da Amadora. Born in Murcia, he holds both Spanish and Puerto Rican citizenship, and it is for Puerto Rico that he has built his senior career on the international stage, debuting for the national team in June 2022 and going on to score six goals in nineteen caps, with strikes against opponents including the British Virgin Islands, Guyana, Anguilla, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Aruba and Guam. He was also part of the squad that won the 2026 FIFA Series.

His club path began at Polvorín FC, Lugo's reserve side, where he scored eleven goals in the Tercera RFEF during the 2021–22 season before making his professional debut for CD Lugo's first team that May. A move to Sevilla FC in August 2024 followed, a transfer reported at close to €600,000 in fixed fee and add-ons. At Sevilla Atlético he made twenty appearances in Primera Federación, scoring four goals, and earned two La Liga appearances for the first team, debuting against Espanyol in January 2025.

He signed a three-year contract with Estrela da Amadora in September 2025. By September 2026, he had reached twenty-nine appearances and five goals overall.

Off the pitch, his father, Ossie Antonetti, is a former volleyball player who now coaches Puerto Rico's men's national volleyball team.
