Milton Delgado

Diego Mazzilli spotted him at nine years old playing for Club Atlético Los Ángeles and Sociedad de Fomento Barrio Central, and brought him into the Boca academy in 2015, beating Huracán to his signature. He worked through the youth ranks, joined the reserve side under Mariano Herrón in 2022, and played in the 2023 Copa Libertadores Sub-20 before signing his first professional contract in February 2024. His debut came weeks later, on 3 April 2024, in the Copa Sudamericana against Nacional Potosí.

He made 11 appearances in the Liga Profesional Argentina in his debut season and added four in the Copa Sudamericana. In 2025 his role grew to 23 league appearances, with an assist to his name, plus a Copa Libertadores outing.

Delgado was a key starter for the U-20 national team at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, where Argentina reached the final before losing to Morocco, and he was awarded the Bronze Ball as the tournament's third-best player. He has earned 20 caps and scored once for the U-20 side.

Boca rejected an offer of around €5 million from Beşiktaş in late 2024, and Delgado's contract, which runs to December 2028, reportedly carries a release clause in the region of $15-20 million. He has since been linked with Chelsea, Inter Miami, Bournemouth, Inter Milan and Fenerbahçe, though none of the reported interest has produced a move, and Delgado remains a Boca Juniors player.
