About the player
Patrik Mijić's route to Greek football ran through six clubs and three countries. Born in Slavonski Brod, he started out in the youth ranks of HNK Željezničar Slavonski Brod before playing with NK Oriolik, NK Omladinac Gornja Vrba and NK Međimurje. A spell with Dinamo Zagreb's reserve side in 2021 was paired that year with a move to NK Sesvete.
He then left Croatia altogether, joining FC Dornbirn 1913 and SV Horn in Austria before a season in Slovakia with FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce. He came to prominence in Slovenia: at NK Rogaška in 2024, he started the Slovenian Cup final against ND Gorica, which Rogaška won on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
In January 2026, Hartberg sent him out on loan to A.E. Kifisia in Greece for the rest of the season, with the Greek club holding an option to make the move permanent for €700,000. He made ten appearances for Kifisia without scoring. Mijić returned to Hartberg once the loan ended before agreeing a move to HNK Gorica in Croatia on 1 July 2026, signing through to June 2029. He has not been capped by Croatia at any level.
