Renzo Malanca

Renzo Malanca made his senior debut for Independiente Rivadavia in January 2021, having come through the club's youth ranks since 2015 after starting out at Leonardo Murialdo. He signed his first professional contract with the Mendoza club in October 2019, and just over a year after breaking into the first team he moved abroad, joining Huachipato in January 2022 for a fee of around €83,000.

Malanca settled quickly in Chile. Across his time at Huachipato he made 113 appearances and scored three goals, and he was part of the squad that won the Primera División title in 2023. He added a second honour in 2025, lifting the Copa Chile after heading in the winner against Audax Italiano in the semi-final. In August 2026 he returned to Argentina, signing for Banfield in a deal that saw the club take on half his rights for $400,000, with the payment structure deferred into 2027 and his contract running to December 2029.

Malanca's international experience so far is limited to the Argentina under-20 side. Javier Mascherano called him up in March 2022 for a pair of matches against the United States, and he was later included in the preliminary squad list for the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, though his three caps at that level have not yet been followed by a call-up to the senior national team.
