Saúl Torres Rojas

Saúl Torres Rojas has spent his career moving between the clubs that shaped him. He started at Independiente Petrolero in 2007, moved through Fancesa and Flamengo de Sucre, then joined Universitario de Sucre in 2012, where he won the Bolivian Primera División Clausura in 2014. A spell at Real Potosí followed, then a return to Universitario, then back to Real Potosí again.

His most productive stint came at The Strongest, where he joined in 2019 and made 118 appearances, winning the Bolivian Primera División in 2023 and earning a nomination for Best Full-Back from Cábala Magazine that year. After a season at San José in 2024, where he scored four goals in 35 matches, he returned to Nacional Potosí at the start of 2025 and won the Copa Bolivia with the club. In January 2026 he moved back to where it all began, signing for Independiente Petrolero.

Torres earned his first senior call-up to Bolivia in 2019, making his debut against Nicaragua. He was included in the squad for the 2019 Copa América, though he did not play in the tournament. He has gone on to win four caps for the national team, among them a 2022 World Cup qualifier against Argentina in October 2020.
