Sebastián Díaz

Sebastián Díaz came through the ranks in his native Temuco, joining Unión Temuco before the club merged into Deportes Temuco later in 2013. He stayed with the merged side for nearly a decade, from 2013 to 2022, racking up 160 league appearances in the middle of the park. A loan spell took him to Audax Italiano in 2018, where he added 13 league outings to his record before returning to Temuco.

In 2023 Díaz moved on a free transfer to Universidad de Concepción, making 15 league appearances before a second free move, in January 2024, took him to Deportes La Serena. The switch paid off quickly: La Serena finished top of the general table in the 2024 Primera B and sealed the title with victory over his old club, Deportes Temuco, in October of that year. Díaz was a regular starter through the campaign, operating in central midfield and contributing to the side's defensive solidity as much as its build-up play.

Earlier in his career, Díaz represented Chile at youth level, playing four matches for the under-17 side at the 2013 South American U-17 Championship in Argentina and three more for the under-20s at the 2015 South American U-20 Championship in Uruguay.

He wears number six at Deportes La Serena.
