About the player
Tino Jukić grew up in German football before switching countries for his senior career. Born in Filderstadt, he came through the youth ranks at SSV Reutlingen 05, SGV Freiberg and SV Stuttgarter Kickers before moving to Croatia in 2020 to join NK Međimurje Čakovec, where he made his professional debut. A season in Slovenia with NK Rudar Velenje followed, before he found his footing at HNK Vukovar 1991.
It was at Vukovar that Jukić became a defensive mainstay. Across three seasons he made 99 appearances, reaching his 100th official outing for the club in November 2024, and was made vice-captain. The high point came in the 2024–2025 season, when Vukovar won the 1. HNL and secured promotion to Croatia's top flight — the clearest achievement of his career so far.
His contract at Vukovar expired at the end of that promotion-winning campaign, and in 2025 he moved on a free transfer to NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, taking the number 5 shirt. He was a regular for Lokomotiva through the 2025–2026 season, making 36 appearances, though the move did not bring any further titles. In August 2026 he left Croatia again, signing with the Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles on a contract running until 2030.
Jukić, who holds both Croatian and German nationality, represented Croatia at Under-18 level in 2019.
