Yan da Cruz Souto

Yan da Cruz Souto made his senior debut with União ABC in 2021 before moving through Boston City Brasil and Floresta the same year, then signed with Goiás in March 2022, where he became a key player at centre-back. He won the Campeonato Goiano twice with the club, in 2022 and 2024, and was part of the squad that lifted the Copa Verde in 2023 after beating Paysandu over two legs, though a loan spell at Vitória kept him out of that final. That loan still brought him silverware of his own: fourteen appearances in Série B and a Campeonato Brasileiro Série B title as Vitória secured promotion.

After returning to Goiás for the 2024 season, Souto joined Juventude permanently in July of that year and scored his first goal in Série A across four appearances. A loan to CRB followed at the turn of 2025, where he added a Campeonato Alagoano title to his collection, before another loan took him to Criciúma in April 2025 for a longer run of eighteen Série B matches plus a Copa do Brasil appearance.

Souto's loan at Criciúma ran until the end of 2025, and in January 2026 he transferred to Botafogo-PB, where he now wears the number 3 shirt. Since arriving, he has featured regularly, with seventeen appearances in Série C and ten in the Campeonato Paraibano so far. Souto has also represented Brazil at under-20 level, having been called up to the squad in 2022.
