Andijan

The 120th minute of the 2024 Uzbekistan Cup final found Andijan level with Navbahor at 2-2, deep into extra time, when a finish settled it 3-2 — the first trophy in six decades of the club's existence. It opened a door nobody at the club had walked through: a debut in the AFC Champions League Two for 2025–26.

The club traces back to 1964, when it was founded as Spartak Andijan. The name changed repeatedly over the following decades — Andijanets, Tekstilshchik, Pakhtakor, Navruz — before settling into FK Andijan and later FC Andijan. For two seasons, 2006 and 2007, it played as Andijan UzDaewoo Auto, a sponsorship tied to the GM-Uzbekistan car plant.

Home games are played at the Bobur Arena, formerly Sogʻlom Avlod, which holds 18,360. The team plays in white and blue and is known as The Eagles.

The top flight has been a harder stage. Andijan's best finish there came in 2008, fifth place, and the club has been relegated more than once — dropping out in 2012 after finishing 14th, then returning the following year as runner-up in the First Division. Most of the club's silverware sits a level down: second-tier titles in 2005, 2018 and 2022, a runner-up finish in 2013, third place in 2017.

That second-tier form has never carried over to the top flight, where the league title has still not been won.
