Capiatá already had a home for indoor sport before it had a basketball club to fill it: the Polideportivo ABC Color, run by the Centro Social y Cultural Capiateño, gave the city a venue with 4,600 seats, and the Bulls were formed to put a team of its own on that court in Paraguay's top flight. The club entered the Liga Nacional de Básquetbol as a newcomer for the 2026 Torneo Clausura.

The opening weeks gave a sense of the gap between a new roster and the league's established names. Capiatá Bulls lost their early fixtures against Olimpia Kings, Deportivo Campoalto and Colonias Gold.

Capiatá Bulls arrived in the LNB with a ground, a nickname and a fixture list, and everything else still to build.
