Vinoř sits in the north-east corner of Prague, and since 2012 it has had something no other district in the country can claim: a ground built for cricket rather than adapted to it. The Vinoř Cricket Ground, known also as Scott Page Field, gave the Czech Republic somewhere to put a women's team once one existed, and that did not happen until 2024, when a squad carrying the country's name first took the field in Austria.

The debut came at the Seebarn Cricket Centre in Lower Austria in June that year, part of a short tour that doubled as the team's introduction to Twenty20 cricket at international level. Home matches followed soon after, against Gibraltar, on the Vinoř ground itself, which seats 500 and remains the country's only purpose-built cricket venue. Results in the regional structure have been sparse: a last-place finish in Group A of the European Cricket Championship in 2023, and another bottom-of-the-table finish the following year in the Women's Challenger Division, shared with Austria. A 14-run win over Serbia in September 2024 counts among the few results to point to.

Katerina Tesarikova has done more with the bat than anyone else to wear the shirt, 307 runs in 22 matches making her the side's leading scorer since it began keeping such records. Sowjanya Talamarla, an all-rounder, captains the side. Behind the team stands the Prague Cricket Club, which has worked to grow the game in the country since 1997, well before the national governing body, the Czech Cricket Union, was set up in 2000.

Two years after that first match in Austria, the Czech Republic women's team has one ground, one recognised rival pairing in Austria and Hungary, and 307 runs standing as the highest individual tally in its short history.
