Erzinspor

Erzin's one appearance in the national spotlight came in 2013–14, when the club, still playing as Erzin Belediyespor, went through the Regional Amateur League play-offs and beat 44 Malatyaspor 3-1 in the final. That result took the town's team into the TFF Third League for the first time, and the club took the name Erzinspor the following year.

The side reached a second, harder peak in 2021-22. By then it had passed through new ownership and a new identity, İskenderun FK, with Ümit Karan in charge of the team and Jan Olde Riekerink as chief executive. Erzin finished second in its Third League group and won the promotion play-offs on penalties against Iğdır FK, reaching the TFF Second League for the only time in its history.

The club's colours, orange and white, gave it the nickname Turuncu-Beyazlılar, and the small Şehit Muhammet Oğuz Kılınç Stadı in Erzin, with room for 2,500, has stayed its home through every change of ownership and name. Ali Oymacı and Sefa Aktepe are among the players Erzin supporters still name from those years, and Cüneyt Karakuş, once on the books as a player, later returned to the club as a coach.

In February 2023, the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes reached into the club itself: athletic performance coach İbrahim Halil Ölmez, goalkeeping coach Uğur Kurt and under-19 player Burak Duraltı were among the dead. Since the 2021-22 promotion, Erzin has not found a way back to that level, and a second season in the Second League remains the target the club has not yet reached.
